30 Day Challenge

For the last few weeks my schedule has been completely off. I started a new job, my husband hours changed at work, both my husband and I were sick and had issues with both of our cars. So, finding a routine has been complicated. Some days I just want to go home sit on the couch, eat pasta and drink wine. Unfortunately, that's how you quickly gain unwanted weight. It starts today! A 30 days challenge. The challenge will kickstart our old routine before our vacation to Disney. 30 days no eating out, 30 days of exercise even if it's just walking, 30 days of clean eating with no cheating. My ultimate goal is to just fit in my clothes comfortably. Today starts Beachbody’s The Shift Shop, with days of lifting and running. A meal prepped day including Vegan Cafe Latte Shakeology for breakfast, Apple, orange and almonds for snacks and chicken breast and sweet potato for lunch. I'll be on my own for dinner making veggies with ground turkey. Meal prepping is key for the challenge. Bringing my lunch to work everyday is so important. My office likes to order in lunch frequently which does not always offer a healthy option. So as much as I am tempted at times, I just heat up my lunch. Since I spend most of my day sitting at a desk, I take walks on my lunch break. Working out… so here is the challenging part. I enjoy working out, but some days I'm just not feeling it. I try to workout anyways, but sometimes I let myself get in my way. This is where the support system comes in. Currently I am holding a end off summer Beachbody challenge group. What does that mean? I have Challenged my husband and a few of my friends to go on this healthy journey with me. I record my Shakeology and workouts daily. I hold myself and the others in the challenge accountable for living a healthier lifestyle. My team motivates me as I hope I motivate them. During this 30 day challenge I will update you with results as well as what my daily diet consists of.
