Day 5 It's 3 am and that alarm is going off again, which means one thing, it's our big day. We're running in our first half marathon. We get up, get dressed and hydrate like never before. We leave our room and make our way to our corral bright and early. After finishing the race, we meet up with my parents and go back to our room to get ready for the day. Once we're ready, we head to Disney's California Adventure. We were starving from running for almost 3 hours, so we headed to Carsland. During each run we ran through Carsland just past Flo's V8 Cafe. It just looked so awesome and I know we needed to eat there, so we did. While walking to Flo's we had to stop and get Fastpasses to Radiator Springs Racers. After arriving at Flo's I ordered the Roast Beef and Cheddar along with a coffee in the Cars souvenir mug. It was super flavorful. After lunch we made our way to Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, which reminded me of the carnival ride that moves in circles and squishes the person who sits on the outside... I was a lot of fun. After that we headed Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue! This ride was absolutely adorable. Once we finished it was perfect timing for us to show off our medals to Spider Man. While standing in line we asked when Captain America when be coming out and they said he comes out at random. We were lucky because random just happen to be while we were standing in line. While we were waiting our turn, we started talking to the family waiting in front of us. Apparently the young ladies father who is a war veteran walked the 5k, but left his medal at the hotel. He was beyond excited to meet Captain America, but didn't have the medal to show off. Justin and I felt it was such a shame to let this upset his day, so we offered one of our 5k medal's for him to wear in the picture. The look on his face when he showed Cap he earned that medal, was just incredible. After waiting our turn it was time for us to show off our four medals. I always love the interactions with different characters. Cap really enjoyed my sleeve and was wondering where my tattoo for him was. Well what he doesn't know is, it's coming. Yes guys, I am getting Captain America's shield tattooed on me. Well after impressing Cap and Spidey, we moved on to the next attraction. We made our way to the Boardwalk to hop on California Screamin', which unfortunately lost power almost immediately after we hopped in line. So, my parents and I met up with Justin to play games at the Boardwalk. I guess your probably wondering why Justin wasn't going to join us on California Screamin'? Justin has vertigo and he passes out on rides with loops. We won a couple stuffed animals went on our way. We walked around the park exploring the shops and sights. We then made our way to the Animation Academy before heading to see the sneak peak of Moana. We got into the class and can I tell you how excited I was to be drawing Zero. Mine, obviously looked the best. We headed over to the sneak peak of Moana and I need to see this ASAP. It looks so cute. After our viewing we made our way back to the front the park to head to dinner. We ended up eating at La Brea Bakery Cafe. I ordered the Short Rib Grilled Cheese, which tasted so yummy. How can you go wrong with a grilled cheese and short rid put together? After dinner we headed black to DCA to take advantage of our Fastpass. Holy cow, Radiator Springs Racers... I don't want to compare rides to WDW, but this one is so similar to Test Track, but better. It was probably one of my favorite rides from the entire trip. We then jumped on Luigi's Rockin' Roadsters, which was such an adorable ride. After that we made our way over to the Boardwalk again to ride Toy Story Midway Mania!. Yup, I kicked Justin's butt! Unfortunately, this was about closing time for the park, so we went back to the room to get some well deserved rest for our last day at Disneyland.
